Wash, peel and cut yams into fries, removing any bruised or bad sections. Soak yams in cold water for an hour, drain and pat dry. Heat oven to 400-425 ℉, cover large cooking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick. Coat yams with flour or cornstarch using plastic bag. In a large mixing bowl drizzle yams with olive oil, sprinkle with seasoning and mix to coat. Place evenly on baking sheet and place in oven. Cook for 15 minutes, remove from oven, turn fries and cook for 10-15 minutes until fries are browned. Sprinkle with sea salt and enjoy.
NotesFor a different take these can be made like diced potatoes, peel them and be careful as they can burn easily.
