Firecracker Meatballs
 Spicy buffalo style meatballs made with lean ground turkey make a great appetizer or main course.

  • 1 ½ lbs lean ground turkey
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp Sambal Oelek
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp mesquite seasoning, or smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
Firecracker Sauce
  • ½ cup Frank's Red Hot
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Preheat oven to 400 ℉, line baking sheet with parchment. In a large bowl mix all the meatball ingredients, form into 1 inch balls, place on baking sheet, cook for 20-25 minutes. Meanwhile in medium bowl mix sauce ingredients, add cooked meatballs and toss gently until coated. Serve as appetizers or with beans and rice.
