  • 5 cups spinach, fresh and washed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup pine nuts
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes, (optional)

In a large sauce pan, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil over low heat for 1-2 minutes. Add spinach to pan and cook down, adding pine nuts towards the end. Add salt, pepper and lemon juice, stir and cook for 1 minute.
