In a large skillet, sauté onion in olive oil over low heat until translucent. Mix dry spices in mortar or small bowl. Add meat to pan and cook until browned, flipping and chopping to make crumbles. Add dry spices and mix thoroughly to coat meat crumbles. Add garlic and Sambal Oelek, turn off stove heat and mix thoroughly as the pan cools down. Serve in corn or flour tortillas with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, salsa and guacamole as desired.
NotesMeat crumbles may be mixed with refried beans, potatoes or served in a bowl with black beans and rice.
