Sesame Green Beans
 Asian style green beans with sesame seeds.

 Ingredients
  • 4 cups green beans, about 1 lb
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 tbsp shallot, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes, (optional)
Instructions

Wash, trim ends and cut beans into 3-4 cm pieces, steam until tender. In a wok or medium sauce pan, heat sesame oil over medium low heat. Add beans and garlic. Saute for a couple minutes. Add soy sauce, pepper and sesame seeds, stir to coat thoroughly and remove from heat.
