 Ingredients
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • ½ cup molasses
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
Instructions

Measure oil then molasses, add sugar, baking powders and spices. Beat with electric mixer until combined, scraping the sides as needed. Beat in molasses, egg, and vinegar until combined. Beat in as much flour as you can and then stir in any remaining flour. Divide dough in half, cover and chill for several hours. Preheat oven to 375 ℉. Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes and place on greased cookie sheet or silicon baking mat. Bake for 6-10 minutes.
