 Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • ⅓ cup molasses
  • 2 tsp vanilla
Instructions

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Measure oil then molasses and mix with egg, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients and mix well. Cover and chill dough for several hours. Preheat oven to 350 ℉. Make 1 inch balls and drop onto greased cookie sheet or silicon baking mat. Bake for 9-10 minutes.
